Software Presales Engineer – Nordics
TenForce is an expert in EHSQ and Operational Risk Management software, based in Belgium and part of Elisa IndustrIQ – a Finnish group committed to making intelligent manufacturing happen.
Industry leaders and governmental organizations all over the world use our products: INEOS, TOTAL, Friesland Campina, ABInBev, Chevron Philips Chemicals, Proximus, Telenet, Fluvius, the Flemish and the Walloon Government – just to name a few. We like to try a fresh approach, be quick on our feet and delight our customers.
To join our growth journey, we’re looking for a special blend between an engineer and a storyteller, with a passion for technology and automation.
You will create demos to present the TenForce product to our prospects and capture great stories to help us better position our product in front of our audience.
Knowing how to add a “secret ingredient” to your demo pitch – the relevant ISO standard, data coming from IoT sensors, the right dose of AI, some regulation – will make you a hero, and definitively ours 😊.
Your main activities:
- Through your business insight, product expertise and excellent communication/listening skills you will create demos and stories to persuade our prospects.
- During the sales process for a specific prospect, you have a pivotal role, and you collaborate closely with the sales manager and help us understand how business needs vary between our markets (BeNeLux, DACH, Nordics, US, APAC).
- Quick at understanding the prospect business needs, challenges, and processes – your analytical mind helps you to define the right approach for a demo, presentation, webinar, or product video.
- You will also contribute text to proposals, white papers, and marketing collaterals.
- For the Sales team, you will prepare and manage a collection of “standard” demos. While preparing a custom demo you like to tinker with configurations, change or add some scripts to prepare the perfect demo.
- You gather stories and feedback from demos, prospects, and clients to align value propositions and messaging with the Marketing team.
- You collaborate with the Product team to get most of the technical details on our product and integrate them into your demos and product value proposition.
- You collaborate with the TenForce Services team to source actual real use case examples from our customers.
- You writing an occasional blog post will result in a broad smile from our Marketing team.
Who are we looking for?
- As a software enthusiast you have been working for at least 1 or 2 years in a B2B environment in the role like project manager, account manager between business & IT, presales engineer, software technology consultant.
- Ideally you are based in Finland or Sweden.
- You are mature enough to work remotely without constant supervision and proactively share updates, new ideas, obstacles, and solutions.
- You understand business processes and how they contribute to the objectives of an organization.
- You love and understand software technology: modelling, architecture, configurations, API’s, scripting, cloud-based deployment, mobile native, MS Power BI integration, … and you want to remain on top of new technological evolutions. You understand project management and agile software development.
- You feel at ease in the fast-paced sales environment. You love to listen and communicate with colleagues, prospects, customers and partners from all levels and diverse backgrounds.
- Ideally, you are familiar with any of the following: Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, the manufacturing industry, regulations, standards, and methods. Your interest and ability to learn about these topics is essential.
- You are an excellent English, Finnish and Swedish communicator, written and spoken, any other language is a plus.
What’s in it for you?
- You will start a wonderful career in a truly international company, perfecting skills that will be tremendously valuable throughout your engineering career: understand technology quickly, translate it into business advantages and present your message in a convincing way.
- You become part of a multicultural team that loves solving challenges through an unconventional and pragmatic approach, but doesn’t tolerate breaking the boundaries of trust, mutual respect, diversity, inclusion, and team-player spirit.
- We will offer you training, demonstrations, documentation, and a presentation of our customer implementation to get you up and running.
- Come to one of our office locations in Finland, but you can also work remotely for the foreseeable future.
- As part of Elisa IndustrIQ you will have access to a global network and even more innovative new technology.
- Boardgames and gaming evenings, team BBQs (again!).
- Excellent pay & coffee.
